Yusuf Ali (English) But Allah beareth witness that what He hath sent unto thee He hath sent from His (own) knowledge,(672) and the angels bear witness: But enough is Allah for a witness.*

Yusuf Ali (English) And this (He commands): Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah hath sent down to thee. And if they turn away, be assured that for some of their crime it is Allah.s purpose to punish them. And truly most men are rebellious.
5 Al-An'am Verse 25 (6:25:4) اِلَيْكَۚ اليك ileyk(e) to you إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) Of them there are some who (pretend to) listen to thee; but We have thrown veils on their hearts, So they understand it not,(852-A) and deafness in their ears; if they saw every one of the signs, not they will believe in them; in so much that when they come to thee, they (but) dispute with thee; the Unbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the ancients."*
6 Al-A'raf Verse 143 (7:143:11) اِلَيْكَۜ اليك ileyk(e) at You إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon Thee."(1102) Allah said: "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me."(1103) When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."(1104)*
7 Al-A'raf Verse 156 (7:156:0) اِلَيْكَۜ اليك ileyk(e) to You إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) "And ordain for us that which is good, in this life and in the Hereafter: for we have turned unto Thee." He said: "With My punishment I visit whom I will; but My mercy extendeth(1125) to all things. That (mercy) I shall ordain for those who do right, and practise regular charity, and those who believe in Our signs;- (1126)*

Yusuf Ali (English) Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding?(1434)*

Yusuf Ali (English) And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind,- even though they will not see?

Yusuf Ali (English) (The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife(1577) (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"*

Yusuf Ali (English) Such is one of the stories of what happened unseen,(1784) which We reveal by inspiration unto thee; nor wast thou(1785) (present) with them then when they concerted their plans together in the process of weaving their plots.*
13 Ar-Ra'd Verse 36 (13:36:7) اِلَيْكَ اليك ileyk(e) to you إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) Those to whom We have given the Book(1857) rejoice at what hath been revealed unto thee: but there are among the clans(1858) those who reject a part thereof. Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return."*
14 Al-Qasas Verse 63 (28:63:14) اِلَيْكَۘ اليك ileyk(e) before You إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) Those against whom the charge(3393) will be proved, will say: "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray: we led them astray, as we were astray ourselves: we free ourselves (from them) in Thy presence: it was not us they worshipped."(3394)*
15 Al-Qasas Verse 77 (28:77:16) اِلَيْكَ اليك ileyk(e) to you إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) "But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter,(3407) nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief."*
16 Al-Qasas Verse 87 (28:87:9) اِلَيْكَ اليك ileyk(e) to you إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) And let nothing keep thee back from the Signs of Allah after they have been revealed to thee: and invite (men) to thy Lord, and be not of the company of those who join gods with Allah.(3420)*
