Say: "It is Allah Who gives guidance towards truth, is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? what then is the matter with you? How judge ye?"

Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!*

Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence(1852) seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it(3880) as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that they do!*

Yusuf Ali (English) Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face,(4280) (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong- doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!"(4281)*
