6 Al-Baqarah Verse 221 (2:221:32) الْجَنَّةِ الجنة l-cenneti Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) Do not marry unbelieving(245-A) women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.*
7 Al-Baqarah Verse 265 (2:265:12) جَنَّةٍ جنة cennetin a garden ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain(311) falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Does any of you wish that he should have a garden(312) with date-palms and vines and streams flowing underneath, and all kinds of fruit, while he is stricken with old age, and his children are not strong (enough(313) to look after themselves)- that it should be caught in a whirlwind, with fire therein, and be burnt up? Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His) Signs; that ye may consider.*

Yusuf Ali (English) And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another:(500) Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the Presence(501) of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."*
15 Ali 'Imran Verse 198 (3:198:6) جَنَّاتٌ جنات cennâtun (will be) Gardens ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) On the other hand, for those who fear their Lord, are Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath; therein are they to dwell (for ever),- a gift from the presence of Allah. and that which is in the presence of Allah is the best (bliss) for the righteous.

Yusuf Ali (English) It is He Who sendeth down rain from the skies:(925) with it We produce vegetation of all kinds: from some We produce green (crops), out of which We produce grain, heaped up (at harvest); out of the date-palm and its sheaths (or spathes) (come) clusters of dates hanging low and near: and (then there are) gardens of grapes, and olives, and pomegranates, each similar (in kind) yet different (in variety):(926) when they begin to bear fruit, feast your eyes with the fruit and the ripeness thereof.(927) Behold! in these things there are signs for people who believe.(928)*

Yusuf Ali (English) Yet they make the Jinns equals(929) with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!*
28 Al-An'am Verse 112 (6:112:8) وَالْجِنِّ والجن vel-cinni and the jinn ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- evil ones(941) among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone.*
29 Al-An'am Verse 128 (6:128:6) الْجِنِّ الجن l-cinni (of) [the] jinn ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) One day will He gather them all together, (and say): "O ye assembly of Jinns!(949) Much (toll) did ye take of men." Their friends amongst men will say: "Our Lord! we made profit(950) from each other: but (alas!) we reached our term - which thou didst appoint for us." He will say: "The Fire be your dwelling-place: you will dwell therein for ever, except as Allah willeth."(951) for thy Lord is full of wisdom and knowledge.*
30 Al-An'am Verse 130 (6:130:3) الْجِنِّ الجن l-cinni (of) [the] jinn ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) "O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you,(953) setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.*
31 Al-An'am Verse 141 (6:141:4) جَنَّاتٍ جنات cennâtin gardens ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) It is He Who produceth(964) gardens, with trellises and without, and dates, and tilth with produce of all kinds, and olives and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in variety):(965) eat of their fruit in their season, but render the dues that are proper on the day that the harvest is gathered. But waste not(966) by excess: for Allah loveth not the wasters.*
32 Al-A'raf Verse 19 (7:19:6) الْجَنَّةَ الجنة l-cennete (in) the Garden ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) "O Adam! dwell thou(1003) and thy wife in the Garden, and enjoy(1004) (its good things) as ye wish: but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."*
33 Al-A'raf Verse 22 (7:22:14) الْجَنَّةِۜ الجنة l-cenne(ti) (of) the Garden ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"
34 Al-A'raf Verse 27 (7:27:11) الْجَنَّةِ الجنة l-cenneti Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as(1009) He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.*
35 Al-A'raf Verse 38 (7:38:10) الْجِنِّ الجن l-cinni the jinn ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) He will say: "Enter ye in the company of the peoples who passed away before you - men and jinns, - into the Fire." Every time a new people enters, it curses its sister-people (that went before), until they follow each other, all into the Fire. Saith the last about the first: "Our Lord! it is these that misled us: so give them a double penalty in the Fire." He will say: "Doubled(1019) for all" : but this ye do not understand.*
36 Al-A'raf Verse 40 (7:40:14) الْجَنَّةَ الجنة l-cennete Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.
37 Al-A'raf Verse 42 (7:42:12) الْجَنَّةِۚ الجنة l-cenne(ti) (of) Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden, therein to dwell (for ever).
38 Al-A'raf Verse 43 (7:43:32) الْجَنَّةُ الجنة l-cennetu (is) Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;-(1021) beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah. indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us." And they shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made(1022) its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness)."*
39 Al-A'raf Verse 44 (7:44:3) الْجَنَّةِ الجنة l-cenneti (of) Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord´s promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but(1023) a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;-*
40 Al-A'raf Verse 46 (7:46:11) الْجَنَّةِ الجنة l-cenneti (of) Paradise ج ن ن
Yusuf Ali (English) Between them shall be a veil, and on the heights(1025) will be men who would know every one by his marks: they will call out to the Companions of the Garden, "peace on you": they will not have entered, but they will have an assurance (thereof).*

Yusuf Ali (English) "Behold! are these not the men whom you swore that Allah with His Mercy would never bless? Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you, nor shall ye grieve."

Yusuf Ali (English) Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise):(1361) they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur´an:(1362) and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah. then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme.*
