We gave them the shade of clouds, and sent down to them manna and quails, (saying): "Eat of the good things We have provided for you": (but they rebelled); to Us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.(1134)*

Yusuf Ali (English) The number of months(1295) in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves(1296) therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.*

Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah(1830) partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "(Allah) is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."*
