Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend(298) over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them(299) for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).*

Yusuf Ali (English) Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet(354): Women and sons; Heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses branded (for blood and excellence); and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are the possessions of this world´s life; but in nearness to Allah is the best of the goals (To return to).*

Yusuf Ali (English) And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another:(500) Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the Presence(501) of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."*

Yusuf Ali (English) Those in whose hearts(765) is a disease - thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them, saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory, or a decision according to His will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they secretly harboured in their hearts.*
