Yusuf Ali (English) And if ye divorce them before consummation, but after the fixation of a dower for them, then the half of the dower (Is due to them), unless they remit it or (the man´s half) is remitted(269) by him in whose hands is the marriage tie;(270) and the remission (of the man´s half) is the nearest to righteousness. And do not forget Liberality between yourselves. For Allah sees well all that ye do.*
2 Al-Ma'idah Verse 8 (5:8:20) لِلتَّقْوٰىۘ للتقوى li-ttakvâ to [the] piety و ق ي
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses(706) to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve(707) to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.*
3 Ta-Ha Verse 132 (20:132:12) لِلتَّقْوٰى للتقوى li-ttakvâ (is) for the righteous[ness] و ق ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Enjoin prayer on thy people, and be constant therein. We ask thee not to provide(2657) sustenance: We provide it for thee. But the (fruit of) the Hereafter is for righteousness.*
4 Al-Hujurat Verse 3 (49:3:13) لِلتَّقْوٰىۜ للتقوى li-ttakvâ for righteousness و ق ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger,- their hearts has Allah tested for piety:(4922) for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward.*
