7 Al-Baqarah Verse 38 (2:38:8) هُدًى هدى huden Guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me(56), whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.*
8 Al-Baqarah Verse 38 (2:38:11) هُدَايَ هداي hudâye My Guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me(56), whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Say: Whoever is an enemy(101) to Gabriel-for he brings down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah.s will, a confirmation of what went before, and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe,-*

15 Al-Baqarah Verse 137 (2:137:8) اهْتَدَوْاۚ اهتدوا -htedev they are (rightly) guided ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) So if they believe as ye believe, they are indeed on the right path; but if they turn back, it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them(136), and He is the All-Hearing, the All- Knowing.*
16 Al-Baqarah Verse 142 (2:142:16) يَهْد۪ي يهدي yehdî He guides ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) The fools among the people(140) will say: "What hath turned them from the Qiblah(141) to which they were used?" Say: To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that is straight.*
17 Al-Baqarah Verse 143 (2:143:34) هَدَى هدى heda guided ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Thus(142), have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced(143), that ye might be witnesses(144) over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels(145) (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect(146). For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful.*
18 Al-Baqarah Verse 150 (2:150:31) تَهْتَدُونَۙ تهتدون tehtedûn(e) (be) guided ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) So from whencesoever Thou startest forth, turn Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque; and wheresoever ye are, Turn your face thither: that there be no ground of dispute against you among the people, except those of them that are bent on wickedness; so fear them not, but fear Me; and that I may complete My favours on you, and ye May (consent to) be guided;

Yusuf Ali (English) When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah hath revealed:" They say: "Nay! we shall follow the ways of our fathers." What! even though their fathers Were void of wisdom and guidance?

Yusuf Ali (English) Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur´an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment(192) (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him(193) in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.*

But if ye are prevented (From completing it), send an offering for sacrifice, such as ye may find, and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice. And if any of you is ill(213), or has an ailment in his scalp, (Necessitating shaving), (He should) in compensation either fast, or feed the poor, or offer sacrifice; and when ye are in peaceful conditions (again)(214), if any one wishes to continue the ´Umrah on to the Hajj, He must make an offering, such as he can afford, but if he cannot afford it, He should fast three days during the Hajj and seven days on his return, Making ten days in all. This is for those whose household is not in (the precincts(215) of) the Sacred Mosque. And fear Allah, and know that Allah Is strict in punishment(216).*

29 Al-Baqarah Verse 198 (2:198:20) هَدٰيكُمْۚ هديكم hedâkum He (has) guided you ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) It is no crime in you if ye seek of the bounty of your Lord (during pilgrimage)(219). Then when ye pour down from (Mount) Arafat, celebrate the praises of Allah at the Sacred Monument(220), and celebrate His praises as He has directed you, even though, before this, ye went astray(221).*
30 Al-Baqarah Verse 213 (2:213:33) فَهَدَى فهدى fe-heda And guided ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.
31 Al-Baqarah Verse 213 (2:213:44) يَهْد۪ي يهدي yehdî guides ه د ي

32 Al-Baqarah Verse 258 (2:258:41) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdi guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Hast thou not Turned thy vision to one who disputed with Abraham(302) About his Lord, because Allah had granted him power? Abraham said: "My Lord is He Who Giveth life and death." He said: "I give life and death". Said Abraham: "But it is Allah that causeth the sun to rise from the east: Do thou then cause him to rise from the West." Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust(303).*
33 Al-Baqarah Verse 264 (2:264:37) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdi guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day(310). They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.*
34 Al-Baqarah Verse 272 (2:272:3) هُدٰيهُمْ هديهم hudâhum (is) their guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) It is not required of thee (O Messenger., to set them on the right path(320), but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face(321)" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.*
35 Al-Baqarah Verse 272 (2:272:6) يَهْد۪ي يهدي yehdî guides ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) It is not required of thee (O Messenger., to set them on the right path(320), but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face(321)" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.*
36 Ali 'Imran Verse 4 (3:4:3) هُدًى هدى huden (as) guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.

Yusuf Ali (English) "Our Lord!" (they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure.
38 Ali 'Imran Verse 20 (3:20:18) اهْتَدَوْاۚ اهتدوا htedev they are guided ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self(360) to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned(361): "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah.s sight are (all) His servants(362).*
39 Ali 'Imran Verse 73 (3:73:9) الْهُدٰى الهدى l-hudâ the (true) guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) "And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah. (Fear ye) Lest a revelation(407) be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord(408)?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah. He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."*
40 Ali 'Imran Verse 73 (3:73:10) هُدَى هدى huda (is the) Guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) "And believe no one unless he follows your religion." Say: "True guidance is the Guidance of Allah. (Fear ye) Lest a revelation(407) be sent to someone (else) Like unto that which was sent unto you? or that those (Receiving such revelation) should engage you in argument before your Lord(408)?" Say: "All bounties are in the hand of Allah. He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things."*
41 Ali 'Imran Verse 86 (3:86:2) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdi (shall) guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.

Yusuf Ali (English) The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakkah(422): Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings(423):*

Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Allah doth wish to make clear to you and to show you the ordinances of those before you; and (He doth wish to) turn to you (In Mercy): And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.
