Thus was he confounded who (in arrogance) rejected faith. Nor doth Allah Give guidance to a people unjust(303).*
3 Al-Baqarah Verse 264 (2:264:37) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdi guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day(310). They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.*

Yusuf Ali (English) It is not required of thee (O Messenger., to set them on the right path(320), but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face(321)" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not Be dealt with unjustly.*

Yusuf Ali (English) How shall Allah Guide those who reject Faith after they accepted it and bore witness that the Messenger was true and that Clear Signs had come unto them? but Allah guides not a people unjust.

Yusuf Ali (English) Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites?(606) Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way.*
8 Al-Ma'idah Verse 51 (5:51:21) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdî guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors(764): They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.*

Yusuf Ali (English) That is most suitable: that they may give the evidence in its true nature and shape, or else they would fear that other oaths would be taken after their oaths. But fear Allah, and listen (to His counsel): for Allah guideth not a rebellious people:

Yusuf Ali (English) His people disputed(901) with him. He said: "(Come) ye to dispute with me, about Allah, when He (Himself) hath guided me? I fear not (the beings) ye associate with Allah. Unless my Lord willeth, (nothing can happen). My Lord comprehendeth in His knowledge all things. Will ye not (yourselves) be admonished?*
13 Al-An'am Verse 88 (6:88:4) يَهْد۪ي يهدي yehdî He guides ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) This is the guidance of Allah. He giveth that guidance to whom He pleaseth, of His worshippers. If they were to join other gods with Him, all that they did would be vain for them.
14 Al-An'am Verse 125 (6:125:5) يَهْدِيَهُ يهديه yehdiyehu He guides him ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth(947) their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong.
16 Al-An'am Verse 149 (6:149:7) لَهَدٰيكُمْ لهديكم le-hedâkum surely He (would) have guided you ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Say: "With Allah is the argument(973) that reaches home: if it had been His will, He could indeed have guided you all."*

Yusuf Ali (English) And Allah will not mislead(1367) a people after He hath guided them, in order that He may make clear to them what to fear (and avoid)- for Allah hath knowledge of all things.*

Yusuf Ali (English) If Allah so willed, He could make you all one people: But He leaves straying(2133) whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases: but ye shall certainly be called to account for all your actions.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam.
36 Al-Qasas Verse 50 (28:50:21) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdî guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) But if they hearken not(3383) to thee, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follow his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah. for Allah guides not people given to wrong-doing.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Or(3630) do they say, "He has forged it"? Nay, it is the Truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee: in order that they may receive guidance.(3631)*
41 As-Sajdah Verse 24 (32:24:4) يَهْدُونَ يهدون yehdûne guiding ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) And We appointed, from among them, leaders, giving guidance(3658) under Our command, so long as they persevered with patience and continued to have faith in Our Signs.*
42 Al-Ahzab Verse 4 (33:4:28) السَّب۪يلَ السبيل ssebîl(e) (to) the Way س ب ل
Yusuf Ali (English) Allah has not made for any man two hearts(3669) in his (one) body: nor has He made your wives whom ye divorce by Zihar(3670) your mothers: nor has He made your adopted sons(3671) your sons. Such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths. But Allah tells (you) the Truth, and He shows the (right) Way.*
43 As-Saffat Verse 99 (37:99:6) سَيَهْد۪ينِ سيهدين seyehdîn(i) He will guide me ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me!(4095)*
44 Az-Zumar Verse 3 (39:3:29) يَهْد۪ي يهدي yehdî guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Is it not to Allah(4243) that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): "We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer(4244) to Allah." Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ.(4245) But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.*
45 Az-Zumar Verse 18 (39:18:8) هَدٰيهُمُ هديهم hedâhumu Allah has guided them ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best (meaning) in it:(4269) those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself,(4276) (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects):(4277) the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble(4278) thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah. He guides therewith whom He pleases,(4279) but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.*
47 Az-Zumar Verse 41 (39:41:8) اهْتَدٰى اهتدى -htedâ accepts guidance ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) Mankind.(4304) He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set(4305) over them to dispose of their affairs.*

Yusuf Ali (English) A believer, a man(4396) from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, ´My Lord is Allah.?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord? and if he be a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling(4397) the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly Allah guides not one(4398) who transgresses and lies!*
49 Ash-Shura Verse 52 (42:52:17) نَهْد۪ي نهدي nehdî We guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before)(4601) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur´an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men)(4602) to the Straight Way,-*
50 Al-Ahqaf Verse 10 (46:10:22) يَهْدِي يهدي yehdî guide ه د ي
Yusuf Ali (English) Say: "See ye?(4783) If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity(4784) (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust."*
