2306 Al-A'raf Verse 20 (7:20:18) اِلَّٓا الا illâ except إِلَّا
Yusuf Ali (English) Then began Satan(1005) to whisper suggestions to them, in order to reveal to them their shame(1006) that was hidden from them (before): he said: "Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live forever."*
2307 Al-A'raf Verse 22 (7:22:1) فَدَلّٰيهُمَا فدليهما fe-dellâhumâ So he made both of them fall د ل ل
Yusuf Ali (English) So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: "Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"
2308 Al-A'raf Verse 23 (7:23:1) قَالَا قالا kâlâ Both of them said ق و ل
Yusuf Ali (English) They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy Mercy, we shall certainly be lost."
2309 Al-A'raf Verse 24 (7:24:11) اِلٰى الى ilâ for إِلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) ((Allah)) said: "Get ye down. With enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood,- for a time."
2310 Al-A'raf Verse 26 (7:26:18) اللّٰهِ الله (A)llâhi (of) Allah اللَّهُ
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment(1008) upon you to cover your shame, as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness,- that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition!*
2311 Al-A'raf Verse 27 (7:27:4) لَا لا (Let) not  لَا
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as(1009) He got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe watch you from a position where ye cannot see them: We made the evil ones friends (only) to those without faith.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Say: Who hath forbidden the beautiful (gifts) of Allah,(1014) which He hath produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure, (which He hath provided) for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world, for those who believe, (and) purely(1015) for them on the Day of Judgment. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for those who understand.*
2325 Al-A'raf Verse 33 (7:33:17) بِاللّٰهِ بالله bi(A)llâhi with Allah اللَّهُ
Yusuf Ali (English) Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are:(1016) shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.*

Yusuf Ali (English) O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
2332 Al-A'raf Verse 35 (7:35:17) وَلَا ولا velâ and not  لَا
Yusuf Ali (English) O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
2333 Al-A'raf Verse 36 (7:36:6) اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ اولئك ulâike those أُولَٰئِكَ
Yusuf Ali (English) But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance,- they are companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (forever).(1017-A)*
2334 Al-A'raf Verse 37 (7:37:5) عَلَى على ‘alâ against عَلَىٰ
Yusuf Ali (English) Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion(1018) appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah." They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah.*

Yusuf Ali (English) Then the first will say to the last: "See then! No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did !"(1020)*
2344 Al-A'raf Verse 40 (7:40:7) لَا لا (will) not  لَا
Yusuf Ali (English) To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.
2345 Al-A'raf Verse 40 (7:40:12) وَلَا ولا velâ and not  لَا
Yusuf Ali (English) To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.

2349 Al-A'raf Verse 43 (7:43:13) لِلّٰهِ لله li(A)llâhi (is) for Allah اللَّهُ
Yusuf Ali (English) And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;-(1021) beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah. indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us." And they shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made(1022) its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness)."*
