ولقد ارسلـنا الى ثمود اخـاهم صـالحا ان اعبـدوا الله فاذا هم فريقان يختصمون

Velekad erselnâ ilâ śemûde eḣâhum sâlihan eni-’budû(A)llâhe fe-iżâ hum ferîkâni yaḣtesimûn(e)

And We verily sent until Thamud their brother Salih, saying: Worship Allah. And lo! they (then) became two parties quarrelling.

We sent (aforetime), to the Thamud, their brother(3283) Salih, saying, "Serve Allah.: But behold, they became two factions quarrelling with each other.*
