isnad (chain of narrators) text
Muhammad Muhsin Khan (1997)
Narrated An-Nu`man: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "The person who will have the least punishment from amongst the Hell Fire people on the Day of Resurrection, will be a man under whose arch of the feet a smoldering ember will be placed so that his brain will boil because of it."
Chain of Narrators (Isnad)
The chain is ordered from the source of the saying to the compiler: 1 = the speaker/first transmitter, the following links those who passed it on in turn, and at the bottom al-Bukhari who compiled the work. Click a narrator to list every hadith in which he appears; the number in parentheses is how many hadiths across the collections on this site the narrator appears in.
- 1al-Nu'man bin Bashir ibn Sa'd (41 hadiths) Source of the saying semi'tu
- 2Ebû İshâk (80 hadiths) semi'tu
- 3Shu'bah bin al-Hajjaj (1511 hadiths) haddesenâ
- 4Gunder (167 hadiths) haddesenâ
- 5Muhammed b. Beşşâr (578 hadiths) haddesenî

Narrator names are parsed automatically from the isnad; identity matching and biographies (death year, jarh wa ta'dil) are being added progressively.
