ولقد ارسلنا نوحا الى قومه فلبث فيهم الف سنة الا خمسين عاما فاخذهم الطوفان وهم ظالمون

Velekad erselnâ nûhan ilâ kavmihi felebiśe fîhim elfe senetin illâ ḣamsîne ‘âmen feeḣażehumu-ttûfânu vehum zâlimûn(e)

And verify We sent Noah (as Our messenger) unto his folk, and he continued with them for a thousand years save fifty years; and the flood engulfed them, for they were wrongdoers.

We (once) sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years(3437) less fifty: but the Deluge overwhelmed them while they (persisted in) sin.*
