وعادا وثمودا وقد تبين لكم من مساكنهم وزين لهم الشيطان اعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل وكانوا مستبصرين

Ve’âden veśemûde vekad tebeyyene lekum min mesâkinihim(s) vezeyyene lehumu-şşeytânu a’mâlehum fesaddehum ‘ani-ssebîli vekânû mustebsirîn(e)

And (the tribes of) Aad and Thamud! (Their fate) is manifest unto you from their (ruined and deserted) dwellings. Satan made their deeds seem fair unto them and so debarred them from the Way, though they were keen observers.

(Remember also) the ´Ad and the Thamud (peoples):(3459) clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate): the Evil One made their deeds alluring(3460) to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with intelligence and skill.*
